Independent car buying team

The dealership has experts. Now you do, too.

Twenty-four years inside dealerships now sit on your side of the table. We have a team behind you, ready for whatever you have.

Flat-fee coaching. No dealership affiliation. You pay for the playbook, not a cut of the deal.

Consultations by phone or video, wherever you’re buying.
The difference

The dealership negotiates every day.
Most buyers do not.

Buying Without an Advocate
Negotiation
You negotiate against someone who does this every day.
Vehicle price
The dealership controls which number receives your attention.
Finance and add-ons
Products and add-ons are introduced when you are ready to sign.
Trade-in
The dealership determines how your trade is presented and valued.
Time and pressure
You spend hours at the dealership second-guessing each decision.
Buying With Our Team
Negotiation
A team that used to run the store coaches you through every number before you agree to it.
Vehicle price
Every number is reviewed, from sticker price to the final out-the-door total.
Finance and add-ons
Financing, fees and add-ons are reviewed before you commit.
Trade-in
Your trade is independently assessed, and you walk in with the script to defend it.
Time and pressure
You arrive knowing the numbers and what you are prepared to approve.
Which one are you?

Two buyers. Same side of the desk.

The Decisive Buyer
"I already know exactly what I want."
Good. That is more than most people walk in with. But knowing the vehicle and knowing the deal are two different things, and the deal is not one number, it is six. Price. Trade. Rate. Term. Fees. Back-end products. You negotiate the one you can see. The other five get built around you.
You picked the vehicle. Let me show you what it should cost.
The First-Time Buyer
"I do not know what I am doing, and I hate the whole process."
That is not weakness. It is math. You buy a vehicle once every six or seven years. The people across the desk do it every day. You were never on even footing, and it was never designed for you to be. You do not have to become an expert. You just need one on your side.
Tell me what you need the vehicle to do.
24 years inside dealerships. 8 years running a franchised store. Former partner.
Coaching is a flat fee you pay. Optional protection products are quoted separately, without dealer markup, and you do not have to buy them.
The other price you pay

A car deal is measured in hours, not just dollars.

The showroom cycle is not an accident. Time is a negotiating tool: the longer you sit, the more reasonable the last offer starts to sound. Here is where the day actually goes.

01
The first visit
Test drive, trade appraisal, and a first pencil that is designed to be countered.
02
The back and forth
You wait while numbers walk to the desk and come back changed.
03
The finance office
The longest hour, at the point in the day when you are least likely to argue.
Work the numbers before you ever set foot in the store and most of that day never happens. You arrive knowing what you will approve.
The advertised price

The number online is rarely the number you can buy at.

Advertised pricing is built to win the click. The conditions that make it real are in the disclaimer, and most buyers find out about them after they have driven to the store.

Stacked rebates you do not qualify for
Military, college, loyalty and conquest cash all subtracted at once, as though one person could claim them together.
Finance-contingent pricing
The advertised figure holds only if you finance in house, which is where the rate markup lives.
Dealer add-ons excluded from the ad
Protection packages and accessories already fitted to the unit, added back at the desk.
One specific stock number
The advertised price applies to a single vehicle that is frequently already sold.
Scott used to set these prices. The team still reads the disclaimer the way the desk writes it. That is the difference between a real number and a hook.
Every car on this lot has a price they won't advertise

Don't walk the lot alone.

It depends on the service. Most Deal Autopsy reviews are completed within one business day after we receive all of the required documents and information. If anything is missing or unclear, we will reach out and let you know what we need. Your review time begins once we have everything necessary to properly evaluate your deal. We would rather get it right than rush it.
A representative from our company will reach out to you within 15 minutes.
We understand that plans change. Let us know as soon as reasonably possible. Rescheduling does not cancel your service or require you to purchase it again, and we will work with you to move your appointment to the next mutually available time. Because some services require us to reserve time or adjust our availability for other customers, repeated rescheduling, missed appointments, or last-minute changes may affect when we are able to provide your service. Be reasonable with us, and we will be reasonable with you.
Contact us as soon as possible. If we have not begun performing the service, we will generally refund the amount paid. Once we have begun work performed specifically for you, including research, vehicle or trade evaluation, document review, deal analysis, preparation, consultation, or live assistance, the service may be partially or fully non-refundable based on the work already completed. If the service has been completed or delivered, the fee is non-refundable. Certain priority services require us to reserve immediate capacity, and any special terms are disclosed at the time of purchase. We recognize that unusual circumstances happen, and we may make reasonable exceptions where that is fair to both you and us.
The vehicle you are considering, your budget, your timeline, your financing plans and any trade-in details.
No. In Oklahoma you speak to the store. We arm you with the numbers, the documents, and live coaching on your phone. We do not broker new-car sales.
Before you buy, please read the Auto Advocate Customer Service Agreement. You will be asked to accept it at checkout.
